2 reviews for Samsung Galaxy S5, Copper Gold 16GB (AT&T)

Tips for battery drain and extending battery life – This phone has been reviewed to death, so I will not bother reviewing all the small details. I did, however, notice that no reviews mention wakelocks, so I would like to take a moment to discuss those. I will also tie this into the battery and battery life.

    2. I. J (verified owner)

Very Fast, Wish These Came With Owners Manual… – My previous phone was a Samsung S2, which I really liked & intended on keeping, but the charger port went bad and it would do all sorts of bizarre things, including drain the battery in 2 hours. So I took the plunge. This is a great phone, but here’s the beef & why I didn’t give it 5 stars… ATT is why. I’m not singling ATT out for any particular reason other than the deceptive way they treat customers. The price you will be quoted here on Amazon is NOT the price you will actually pay. They warn you there are other fees, but will not tell you what they are other than the $40.00 initiation fee. Well, people, there are so many fees you’ll pay a huge amount over the online quote. And the $80.00 a month charge for the 2 gig mobile sharing plan listed here is likewise not really what it’s going to cost you. All those unlisted fees and surcharges will cost you $94.88 in the end, almost $15.00 a month, or $180.00 per year, over what you thought you were signing up for. This has gotta stop. Won’t one of you politicians submit a bill requiring service providers to tell you up front EXACTLY what all the charges are going to be? This is like living in the Ukraine.
